Hopefully the club will release race schedule asap as it will help many to organise their trip . if the events I plan to race were all on Saturday I would only need to book accommodation for Friday night . also I will most likely be sharing two transponder between 3 cars , with the schedule known I can plan this and enter the correct numbers on the entry form . I'm sure many who plan to come would be in a similar situation . also looking forward to some pics or YouTube of the layout . I've never been to the ville. but hear great things about their meets and look forward to racing there . cheers gopes

I've got everything booked or a great weekend in tropical North Queensland, can we get some practice in on the Thursday afternoon, I know there's a few chargers members hitting Townsville that day really looking forward to supporting the Queensland state titles. Cheers. Hero

Class Days / Practice
It looks like we will be running 2wd Buggy, 4wd Buggy and our Junior Demo class Saturday with EP Truck and Short Course Truck classes running on the Sunday.
The track is open to the public so there will not be any issue in getting some practice in on the Thursday if you wish however there will be chains up but it really doesn't effect RC Cars too much but there is a chance you could get hooked up on them, the track will be open Friday Morning with the computer set up to record lap times etc and the chains will be down.
Thanks

Track upgrade
The new track surface has been laid with hard packed clayey loam, no rocks!!
the surface should blue groove with a little sweeping . We will report back once it has settled in and has some use. Control tyres seem to be working with no significant wear problems.

You could say that for that area, and has a council pool next to it as well, so those from the south who think it to hot, can go and take a dip in the pool to cool down. That shot looks like a panaroma shot, track closest to stand is a long straight, not a corner like it seems in picture.
