It's also likely the venue will reamin the same as it was a perfect size for our application. (We just need to work on the temperature a little )

I know that seeing 1/12th mod got a lot of people excited, but I would be super keen on stock 1/12th if it was going to run.
And Shoot me down but I think next year there should be restrictions on cross entering touring car classes like we do at arcmccc events. This would be good to encourage more people to enter some of the other classes. Guys running blinky 17.5 and mod is rediculous.

And vote 1 for Wednesday practice

Seeing as no one has posted it here, here's a video of 12th A1:

This is really exciting. A 12th scale in full flight is thrilling. These speeds are out of reach of most people though, so a spec 12th scale class is a really great idea. It gets people into the class, gives them a chance to experience the thrill of driving the cars, and sets the best drivers on the path to achieving what Kevin Herbert is in the video. That's why I've been promoting this concept: The Official Australian 12th Scale Eurostock Thread

Default 1/12th

Hi I spoke to Scotty for quite some time about a stock class for 1/12th,even a stock Tyre, but thats hard to do ,but Scotty seemed to like the idea of 13.5 Blinky,as i been stated that as of next year ,we will be running 13.5 Blinky TC at Aus events,so no need for people to buy motors to go out and race 1/12th.From my experience 13.5 Blinky in 1/12th would still be fast, but not to the point as people seen at the AOC,Ive already have had several people interested in 13.5 from S.A.It would be a good class for people to learn driving skills with out the car being overpowered. Thanks to the AOC it has open people up to 1/12th racing, but running Mod straight up is very hard and i think it will turn racers away,I retired from 1/12th because the speed is too much for my eyes and brain to keep up,sign of old age
Anyway i hope this has helped, cya at the next AOC,

It would be nice if we could agree on the same spec motor, so we don't end up with the country fractured like it has been for TC. I think the different motor classes in different states has been bad for racing in this country. However, even if we are running different spec motors for 12th in the north and south of the country that's still a lot better than not having it at all in some places. Indeed, if there is momentum built up in different places with different motors, I'd be reluctant to change anything at this embryonic stage that might harm it.

Are you talking about 13.5 blinky, or 13.5 boosted?

Many thanks again to Dan and the cameramen for capturing these. Next time I'll setup the tripod so people don't have to give up their prep/race time

From the discussions i heard, Scotty was talking all blinky next year, no boosted classes except mod.
