Default Let the fun begin

Melbourne time 5.20am I'm about to leave to open the stadium up so the construction can begin on AOC round 2 indoor carpet event.

Anyone who can lend some time today to help set-up, come on down.

I would like to thank all those members from SERCCC who will be giving up time and expertise to today to set up what is shaping as Australia's largest international event in RC.

Remember open practise begins from midday (est) Thursday 4th July.

To All good luck.
Track looks impressive and I am sure the competitors will have a great time. The organisers have certainly done a tremendous job and I am sure everyone will benefit from the experience.
I will watch for updates over the weekend and I sure wish I could have made the trip.
Perhaps next year.
Remember most of all to have fun.

Any videos of the top quali runs? Also is anyone doing day to day coverage of the touring car classes?

F1 Qualifiers 2 and 3 coverage including driver and car photos and which drivers are running which chassis.

A close and exciting battle between Ryan Maker and Ben Stirling for TQ with a number of others not far behind. Qualifying is your fastest single run so it all comes down to who can be quick in Q4 coming up for F1 at approximately 7.25pm. You can follow it live at www.liverc.com

Scott Giles is a member of the Mildura Offroad Club in Victoria. You has a "?" in place of his state.

Work commitments meant that I had to pull my entry from AOC, but I've just come back from spending a few hours over there this afternoon.

In a word - AWESOME.

Unbelievably fantastic setup that we have a right to be proud of. When even the Internationals (Hebert, Volker etc) are raving about it, you know you're onto something good.

This will be the marquee event in Aus from now on. Congrats to Scotty and the guys from SERCCC for raising the bar to new levels.
