F1 - 2013 RC Formula1 Vic Cup Series - 6 tracks - Apr-Oct
Feedback from drivers rated the 2012 RC Formula1 Vic Cup Series as a great success! So we've expanded the 2013 series to five clubs as follows:
Round 1 - Sun 14 April at TFTR (Templestowe) - incorporating a World Record Attempt using an F1 car. Stay tuned for details!
Round 2 - Sun June 23 BORRCCC (Bendigo)
Round 3 - Sun Aug 4 WCRCMCC (Geelong)
Round 4 - Sun Sept 29 MPRCCC (Mornington Peninsula)
Round 5 - Sat Nov 2 WRCCC (Wodonga) - possibly incorporating an F1 Interstate Showdown between NSW / VIC
Best 4 rounds to count so if one of the dates don't suit you then you will still be able to compete for the title of 2013 Victorian F1 Champion.
Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and TQ will be presented at every round. So each round is also a stand-alone event.
Team Championship
In addition to the individual competition, entrants may optionally enter the team competition. Based on the full scale F1 constructors championship, teams of 2 may use the same body shell paint scheme but paint the drivers helmet and car numbers differently, and enter the Team Championship. Points earned individually will also count in the Team Championship. Teams may be real life or fictional team names. First come, first served for team names. Team shirts are optional

Points
Each Round you will receive a ranking from First to Last. First earns 50 points, 2nd 49 points, etc. Points from the best 4 Rounds are added together to determine overall series placings.
Rules
The F1 National Rules will be used with the following amendments:
- Rubber Tyres only
Format
Just like last year we will use the normal club racing format of the host club and Rounds are run on a normal club day. This makes it very easy for the host club. Most clubs run 2 x 6 minute qualifiers and 3 x 6 minute finals. However, at least one of the host clubs is considering running a special format for F1 along the lines of the way full scale is run.
Trophies
Trophies have been expanded to include: medals for every round (1st, 2nd, 3rd and TQ), series trophies for individual entrants (1st, 2nd, 3rd and concourse medal) and Team Championship (1st, 2nd, 3rd and best team paint scheme medals).
Above: 2012 Trophies and Medals
Entry Fee
To pay for trophies there will be a small entry fee of $4 per Round in addition to the host clubs normal race day entry fee.
Rain
If a scheduled Round is postponed due to rain then the Round will run on the next scheduled club day of the host club. If a Round is unable to be run before the next scheduled Round on the program then the Round will be cancelled. If 2 Rounds are cancelled then the competition will change to a Best of 3 Rounds instead of the scheduled Best of 4 Rounds.

Bit of news in the RC F1 front.
BMW Castrol announce 2013 RC Formula1 Vic Cup Series Entry
11/03/2013
Newly established team, BMW Castrol has officially announced their entry into the 2013 RC Formula 1 Vic Cup Series. The newly formed team built from technical staff of both the BMW Motorsport and ex Formula One division bring a wealth of knowledge and are well underway testing the 2013 entry both at TFTR and BRCCC for the coming season.
At the announcement of their entry, BMW Castrol also revealed it is keen to expand its Motorsport division after a successful 2012 DTM campaign and will be carrying over sponsors Castrol as their naming and main sponsor under the Castrol Edge banner as well as Aral lubricants under the Aral Ultimate fuel logo.
In addition, BMW Castrol was also pleased to announce its two drivers who will be competing in the series. David Stevens & John Papagrigoriou. Both of which are established RC Formula1 privateer drivers and key to developing the vehicle across the season. While not available for a statement at the time we look forward to hearing from both drivers at the launch of their car in early April prior to the start of the series.

Up to 11 entries with 4 weeks until Round 1. Keep those entries coming!
And if you'd like to enter the team championship but don't have a team mate post your interest here and I'll try and match you up.
