Yes mate. Controlled practice from 8.45am. 10 min per class. If you get down early Saturday morning I'm sure the track will be open for free practice without timing.

Should be there by around 3 - 4 am for Prac Sat morning!
I heard that Jordan will be there to open up for us.

Jake,
A Marquee for travelling guests has been arranged. If you require the use of the facilities please contact [email protected] to make sure space is available.
BYO is welcome and suggested. We have a "tennis court" sized area to set up on, first in best placed.

Just a quick question on the test and tag of all power equipment
Are Powerboards going to be exempt from being tested and taged as they do not have an RCD fitted on them or do we need to bring a RCD power outlet?

Hey Ritchie, I what he is asking is: Do powerboards have to be RCD protected or will just the normal overload switched or surge protected ones be acceptable for use @ the event? I think on sites they have to be RCD protected? You would know better than me?

as a standed household powerboard does not pass under the test and tag rules
"Portable outlet devices, being a plug-in device commonly known as a ‘power board’ that provides one or more socket-outlets, may be used
for the connection of plug-in electrical equipment subject to the following conditions:
• robust double-insulated construction and a minimum rating of IP 33
• switches controlling the socket outlets are to be double pole
• socket-outlets mounted on the assembly are protected against damage by extended sides or covers
• incorporates overcurrent protection device with a maximum current rating of the supply flexible cord
• incorporates RCD protection with a maximum residual or tripping current of 30mA. "
only asking as any of the local drivers that i test and tag will not have there power boards tagged if they are not as above

your last post is correct for construction sites in NSW as stated in section 6 of the below link...
http://www.scribd.com/doc/125091873/...Checklist-1420
Please refer to the "energy safe victoria guidlines" for testing and tagging at public events in the link below.

So anything being plugged into 240v needs to be tested and tagged.
Cheers.
