Good question Paris, 21.5 is allowed in the 540 class for the ORRCA Drivers Series.

By the surnames of entries so far, it appears Mildura may have chosen the incorrect television referance to name this event.........

.......I'm thinking more 'Family Feud' than 'Early Edition'

Hey guys, looks like a few of the ARCR crew including myself will be coming up for this event (heard its worth the trip.. ;-) but I was just wondering what the difference is between 2WD 540/21.5 class and 2WD stock is..?? I thought they were much the same thing...???

Stock is for 17,5T motors, no boost timing, open gearing.

540 / 21.5 is the entry level class, for 540 (silvercan brushed motors), or 21.5T brushless motors. The 21.5T motors are limited to 6.0:1 gearing and must be from the list published by VORTEC.

I could get my ar*e kicked for this as I read the nationals thread but is there a drawing or sketch or photo of the layout somewhere? I just want it to go through in my head leading up to the event so as to minimise the embarrassment. I know it's not professional but Keilor chucked on a pencil drawing at some stage during the re-build which helped. I know that'll draw a bunch of comments from idiots - maybe pm me? I don't know - don't mean to speak out of turn just my first event away from Keilor or Knox and need all the help I can get.

I don't wish to drop this info before the committee wants to announce it, but to save on other possible detrimental comments.. I'm am very sure there will be some really, really good pics up of the complete track once the earthworks company removes it's heavy machinery from it later today or tomorrow.

I have been lucky enough to sample the final surface first hand with a 2wd mod late yesterday, and i can assure all it will be an AWESOME surface (and layout) once perfected later this week! For both Mallee Madness, and the National titles.
