Please note.
•The track is leveled now.
•The new clay surface is down, and being completed tomorrow by the employed earthworks company under the direction of Chris Davis our track manager.
•The track has been layed out in paint as I write this.
•The club will post a layout pic soon I'm sure, as they are very proud of what has been achieved.

There is a 2nd layout option that the club will trial.
It has been resurfaced with a grippier red clay and the jumps have been changed to be a little bigger and more technical.

Sorry Gidds, the red clay is long gone, GBM have been there with heavy equipment since yesterday, the have been laying 130mm of a light cream/brown clay on a new flat base. Both the layout and jumps are now quite different to last weekend.
It looks amazingly good too! Very smooth, Technical, fast and big air!

It seems even the locals who helped build the track aren't in the know!

I have no idea which local members know, or don't know what's happening, but the track is not exactly far from any of us, and it takes very little to pull up and see the progress.
What I do know, is the Mildura club committee and members have very high expectations of how this track will perform, and regardless of the costs or efforts needed, the track that will be presented for the upcoming meetings will be first class. It is of my belief that after assessments from the last meeting, the decisions were made to make further changes, and make use of materials and professional earthworks services that have been made available. This is much work for those involved, but in the end will be for the better of all that attend these events, and future events, be it a national title, or Mildura club day.

John, I'm afraid the D4 has finally been retired. It's last finals outing was in a very memorable few finals against Ray at Mallee Madness last year. I did qualify it well for the Vics this year, but with the centershaft bearings failing and spinning in the housing, and resulting DNF, DNS, DNS in A's 1-2-3 sealed it's fate, and the end of it competitive life.. So the B44.2 must now have some shoes to fill, and the trophy room has one more car.
