2wd 540, stock and mod along with 2wd shortcourse truck (10.5 blinky)

10am driver meeting Saturday.
8am driver meeting sunday

Thie track will be open with power all day friday, and a short time into the night for the travellers who wish to come up friday afternoon after work. 9pm will be closing time friday night. Saturday morning the track will be open from sunrise until 9am. I know it is only a couple of hours but it has to better than no practice at all, plus we need a bit of time to prep the track for q1. The idea of the late saturday start time is to give people the chance to come up first thing saturday morning, our lights are up and ready to go so we will run into the evening saturday. For the clever people it could also save you on 1 nights accomodation. I am hopefull that with the number of entries, along with 4qualifiers and 3 A finals, we will have a finish time of around 8pm. (or earlier if we can manage it) Then we will kick off early sunday to get all finished and presented and folkes can get back on the road home. So bring a light for your pit table for practice friday night and racing saturday night.

Thanks mate, I am going to try and head up after work on Friday if I can get Saturday off. I heard the rumor that we may be running clockwise? I hope so i love your track clockwise.

BTW nice work on the lights I know you have been pushing for that for a long time.

Was it ever considered to maybe run the meeting like a one day meeting with all classes run in each round of qualifying but spread over 1 1/2 days. With the track open till maybe 12 or 1 for practice and then run 1 maybe 2 qualifiers on the Saturday with the rest of qualifying and finals run on the Sunday, this way it gives most people a bit more time to get there and a chance to have a practice.

Not dis-similar to the format Keilor uses for the Stock Shoot-Out........and that seems to be a rather popular format with the punters from Mildura etc.

if my information is correct then this was the format last year. That was decided by the reps from each respective club at a meeting. This is the way i know it is to be run so that is how. We don't look at the rule book then throw it out.
