Its on again this weekend in Gladstone - round 3 of the SSIC - thank you to the racers who have supported the series so far - to those who haven't or couldn't - its NOT too late. Racing starts at 12noon Saturday , should finish at about 5pm , restarts 8-30 am Sunday . The Gladstone Club has told me they are aiming at being finished by about lunchtime . If you enjoy the sport - see you there. Entries via Slyfox.

Reminder to everyone that the final rnd of the 2012 SSIC series is being held in Mackay on the 27th & 28th October. nominations is via slyfox only as none will be taken on the day. Schedule of the meet will be posted in the coming week but will be very similar to the previous 3 rnds of the SSIC that has been run.

cheers

I have spoken with Justin and he is hoping to have some points up next week. There was a problem with the timing system which has delayed the results posting.

Hi Nudge,

I know there are plenty of 2wd SCT's that are planning to go from Rocky. Just a bit slow to nominate. I will get my 2 nominated tonight.

Cheers.
Don.

Just looking for some info regarding camping.

Are there any toilets/power etc?
Is camping Friday night an option and if so, what time will the track be open.

Thanks in advance.

Default Schedule for RND 4 SSIC Mackay

rough schedule for the final rnd of the SSIC being held in Mackay next weekend

Saturday
practice from 8:30am until about 11:30
drivers brief: 11:45
qualifying from 12PM until about 5pm.
Sunday
Possibly 1 more round of qualifying then Finals start time 8:00AM
Presentations after completion of finals

Race times will be 10 min qualifiers for all 1/8 classes and 6min for short course. We'll have 3 x 10min finals for EP buggy, 1 x 20 min lower finals for IC buggy /Truggy, 30min A Final for IC Buggy/Truggy and 1 x 10 min final for SCT. At this stage the nitro and electric truggies will run together and get scored separately as will 2wd and 4wd SCT. Depending on entries, might look at running multi part sct to give the nitro guys who bumped up from the lower finasls time to prep cars for their next final

Camping is available at the track for Friday and Saturday nights, although the track doesn't open for practice until 8:30am on Saturday. There will be a canteen running all weekend plus there will be a ensuite for the campers to have showers

cheers
