Where is the best airport to fly too? second question how far from the tack ?

Brisbane, about 30 to 40 mins. Have a look at the qld state titles entry form.for accommodation.

Either Brisbane or Gold Coast.

It is probably a little closer to Brisbane than Gold Coast. Area's to stay would be Springwood (about 5 mins from track), Beenleigh (10 mins from track)
