It must be said firstly what a shame the 1st round had to end early due to bad weather but I'd like to say congratulations on having an awsome facility to the Maitland club and thank you for preparing a top track for us to enjoy...special thanks to the guys running the event.. Dan!!! Nice rapping on the mic!!

Yeah, I was really looking forward to the finals. I'm disappointed we couldn't run them. It would have been good to see KC fight with Ari and Dal in Buggy, and also see what Ari could do from the back of the Field in Truggy. I reckon we would have seen Shane in that Buggy A finals too, he was looking pretty racey in that aborted start of the B final. A few people got scared off from coming by the rain that was around, but we did pretty well to that point. Just that last shower made things a bit too slippery for the marshals.

I just need Pete to send me the results off the computer and I'll have them up. Shouldn't be more than a day or two. I'll have the pointscore up at the same time.

In the meanwhile everyone should enter the ACT round. Let Shane know you are all coming nice and early.

Attached are the Championship positions and points allocations for round 1.

As Ari predicted the round 1 host leads, but that's normal for series like this, and trying to hold onto that lead at the next two rounds will be much tougher.

p.s. I've made every effort to ensure this is correct, but if anyone spots a mistake please send me a PM and I'll correct it as soon as I get the chance.

p.p.s. I've tried to choose colours to represent each club based on images from the websites. If clubs actually have official colours please let me know what they are and I'll use them next time.

Thanks Matt. I spoke to Dave. He lives up our way but has membership of both Liverpool and Illawarra. So, I let him choose who he wanted to represent. He indicated that he wanted to represent Illawarra, just to make things more interesting.

Racing in Buggy at Maitland is pretty open at the moment, no driver has won more than 2 meets out of the last 12!
