sweet as so since mH is milli and not micro (uH) I can run a 10.5T in a 17.5T can and it will read under 60mH.

lol, lucky im a intense rule reading nerd to pick up these typo's

Also a LRP X12 17.5T straight from the box reads 58uH So will it be allowed??
The typo has been picked up before. AARCMCC just haven't changed it.

I'm sure there will be a tolerance of a few % so I'm sure your 58uH will be fine

and I'm sure if someone tried to run a 10.5 rotor in a 17.5 can it would get picked up well before it got to inductance testing!

The rotor is the magnet in the motor!

yeah I meant if there was any significant performance increase from running a different rotor it would be questioned and looked at closely.

There are certain physical measurements a rotor has to meet. Diameter and magnet length etc etc. If the one out of the 10.5 fit the measurements for stock then all good but if it was a modified rotor it would be picked up easily from the rotor measurements.

Actually I was wrong, No motors of any wind that we race would read above 60mH. So technically every motor would fail, lol
They would all read in the uH range (micro)

Having done some research accommodation is looking a bit scarce. I did find a place reasonably close that has rooms however. If you're in need, try this mob: http://www.johnsonroadmotel.com.au/

Now I just hope I can get from the airport to the track in time for heat 1 on Saturday! I predict Cheese and I will set a TQ run from the airport to Redbank Plains!

Cheers,
Scotty

Hey all.
For info AARCMCC have updated their website with the newer ESC list that was used at the Nats. It's the January 2012 list. Doesn't have the latest Tekin and Orion approvals that are on the latest ROAR list. We are hopefull AARCMCC may have a new list out in time for the titles that reflect the latest ROAR list but can't count on it.
SO as it stands at the moment the official Stock ESC list will be the Jan 2012 list on the AARCMCC website.

Default bump for a great event

less then a month out should this event be a sticky by now up the top

such a shame so many people leave things to the last minute to enter

come on guys help out the hosting club get those entry forms filled out and sent in

great track and should be awesome racing on the new design and surface

Just a week till entries close and the numbers look dismal. Both stock classes and both truck classes look doubtful - where is everyone ?
