Practice in Heats and 1 round of qualifying will start on Friday. However there will be another 5 rounds on Saturday. We plan to get all qualifying completed on Saturday and run the finals on Sunday.

I thought the idea was to try to keep State Championships to a two day event to try to help reduce costs, as was voted in two to three years ago. By holding qualifying on Friday with so few numbers entered, there is now pressure on people to turn up on Wednesday or Thursday to get some track time in, prior to qualifying. No wonder less people are travelling to these events, with everybody having such an abundance of money these days....

does this mean that you will now be having a top 4 warm up for classes because you don't plan to run qualifying on Sunday?

AARCMCC General Regulations
2.2 State Championship Schedule
2.2.1 State Championships should be run over a period of 2 to 3 racing days dependant on the number of competitors.
2.8 Practice
2.8.1 Practice for State Championships must be available for competitors for a minimum of 1 full day immediately prior to the start of the event.
There's no reason to start Qualys on Friday going on numbers and that's the only reason according to AARCMCC that you would run more then 2 "racing" days
