Weather - Long Range

You don't want to know what it was like yesterday, but looking at the above, I'm pretty optimistic.

Those "possible\late showers" on the long range usually turn into nothing

Hey Alan

With the changed/new rules in place this year its set out for 7min, but we'er also allocated 10min in the race schedule just in case we go that way, We thought we would put it to all the drivers during the drivers breifing and see what everone would like to do.

We'er looking at having a real fun & enjoyable weekend of racing with plenty of track time for everyone. As you know us Tasmanian's are pretty layed back down here. .

Cheers Rick

Hi guy's, I'm 100% sure it has to be 7 min quallies according to the new AARCMCC rules for this year.

I understand your line of thinking, but as it is an AARCMCC titles we must follow the new rules for this year.

Yeah my understanding is the same, for any AARCMCC IC Offroad State title needs to be run to the new rules inc 7min quals and A,B,C etc finals system.

Not long now!

More track rolling will be done tomorrow and Thursday to make the track as awesome and consistent as possible! Should be an awesome surface. Has had plenty of water in it over the weekend and more will be put on tomorrow and thursday.

Looking forward to it!

Looking forward to the race!

If any of our northern visitors are flying in Thursday afternoon/evening via Launceston, come check out some indoor EP racing at Launceston R/C. Shoot me a PM or email and I'll give you location details. We might even be able to slot you behind the wheel of a short course truck if you ask nicely!

See all Friday.

Rumour has it that some of the mainland visitors dropped in to check out the action at Launceston R/C tonight. I hear that two of them had a turn at the wheel of a 2wd EP short course truck.

I also hear that the truck went home broken, leaving its owner crestfallen at the damage suffered at the hands of northern "pro" drivers.

Any comments Flanno?

Seriously.....nice to see you guys tonight. Can't wait to get on the dirt with y'all tomorrow morning.

peace
scott

At Latrobe waiting for practice to start. These guys sure know how to build a race track. It is perfect. Best condition I've ever seen it. Can't wait to turn some laps.
