Thumbs up "Nightmare on Jikner" Night Event 28th and 29th of October

The next PHDR Night Meeting is scheduled for the 28th and 29th of October. This falls on the halloween weekend and has been dubbed The "Nightmare on Jinker" Night Event. In the past we have used four portable diesel lighting systems but we have gone with five this time for extra visibility.

Friday
Kick off at approx. 6:00pm for controlled practise and possibly one round of qualifiers.
Saturday
Kick off at 2:00pm until finish.
Trophies to be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the following classes:
1/8th Nitro Buggy
1/8th Nitro Truggy
1/8th Electric Buggy
1/8th Electric Truggy
Open Truck (1/8th and 1/0th Monster and Shortcourse Trucks Combined)

Qualifiers
This may vary with numbers, but based on our last night event I expect we'll have around six qualifiers for each class. Length of qualifiers and finals will be confirmed shortly.

Entry Fee
$30 for the first class and $20 for the second class. Please note that if you race two classes you will need to marshall two classes so if you end up racing back to back you will need to make arrangements for a substitute marshall otherwise penalties will be enforced.

Non-Members, visitors and new drivers are more the welcome to participate and if you do not wish to race the whole event you may participate in the controlled practise night on Friday for a fee of $10.

Less than week Togo

Format:
Friday
10min practice rounds till 10pm then first qualifier

Saturday
10min quals till 8pm then abc finals

Format subject to change and general consensus of participants

Combined results minus two qualifiers or best 3/4. Depends on numbers.

Pay on the day and no paperwork or online nominations. We're ready. Are you?

Ok long sleepin today. Thanks to all the praise i got, wish i cbf'ed racing but it's hard and probably not worth it with the competition around. I enjoyed running the event. and was simply impressed by a few people's improvements.

results have been sent off (3 times) to vaughn to upload to website.. but in the meantime they are here

As you might have noticed.. this will probably be the last event held under the drone of coates hire lights.. i think we might have just broken even with costs vs income this weekend.

But don't worry Tony has already started on work to secure our own lighting. Cross your fingers! How good would it be to have saturday night racing in the summer season.

anyways. Thanks again for all those that attended and for keeping us all happy via helping me out with various things.
