So how's the track? Are we all good to go racing tomorrow? We've had some big storms here in Byron Bay today.

Well racing got under way today around lunch time after a few showers this morning.. The track has got a lot of grip in it and the 4WD buggy lap record has been smashed! 31.610 by mathew Cavanough
Mathew Cavanough with a 34.526 in 2WD Buggy
2WD SC Fastest lap was Chris Patterson with a 34.812.
Stadium Truck, danial Willis with a 36.003.
4WD SC Scott Perkins with a 34.867..
3 rounds have been run in sun shine with the track getting faster as the heats run..
Thanks to the guys that hung around to race and the marshels.

Bring on tomorrow..

I had 1 race in Short course and 2wd buggy.
Decided to call it quits after my short course stopped working due to the water and mud. My electrics are all exposed and not good when it's like that.

I think they are going to put some more carpet down tomorrow morning. I'll be there early to help out if needed.

There will be a few of us starting at the rear of the grid tomorrow

we ran 3 heats today, and i believe we will run the 2nd 3 heats tomorrow as well as the 3 finals... track was perfect by the time we finished... sticky, but no muddy... a slight shower tonight will be perfect to settle the marbles and maintain track moisture... looking forward to a great day tomorrow!

Craig you mention showers/rain/water again and we will have to ban you from rctech
and yes the track was producing some great time in the later heats.
Sunday will be 3heats max and 3 finals so be early and have them batteries charged.
Thanks to all the guys that piched in today with the track maintanance and carpet laying.
at the present time the rain is on the coast and heading north (southerly wind) which is good news and sould be the same as this afternoon sun shine cloudy periods (not rain).
For all those that were not racing today make the treck down/up here and have a crack.
Thanks Steven.
