It's worth keeping in mind that those times are from 1 meeting, which consisted of only 3 races for each class. The track was very green, and we were all still learning the layout (some people might have had 10 minutes practice in the morning). There have also been some tweaks made to a couple of the jumps. I expect a couple of seconds at least to come off those times.

btw the Banking is awesome in 1/10th. I really love especially the front half of the track. It's fast and flowing, and really great to drive.

We're not. It's just that we have more entries, and can't really fit a demo class into a 2-day NSW Title easily.

We've been given permission by the AARCMCC IC President to run a separate 1/8 EP State Titles later in the year. We haven't discussed it properly, but SCT will more than likely run at that meeting. We have a lot of SCTs at Maitland so we'd want to give them a proper go instead of shoe-horning them into an already full meeting via a restricted number of entries/heats.

Maybe you could borrow a 2wd or a 4wd off a club mate for the meeting. We'd love to have you down here. I had a great race against a South Australian in '99 who borrowed a 4WD, just pipped him to the Title. Worth a thought, surely.

If we ran SCT we'd more than likely have to limit the number of entries the way they do for onroad demo classes. We have about 20 guys who race SCT just at Maitland, so if we did then more than likely a lot of people who wanted to run would miss out. And then the rules say that the Demo classes have to yield to the sanctioned ones in the case of delay as well. It just seems much fairer to try and give them a go at a meeting where those things won't be an issue.
