What tyre??
I think the 'biggest' reason not to implement a nitro percentage rule is from the scrutineering point of view. Imagine having to test 130 different fuel bottles every round or so!
Pretty much everyone runs either 25% or 30% nitro, and there doesn't appear to be a huge difference in performance or runtime between the two. The difference is minimal, and the headaches that come with policing a rule like that are huge
On another point - Can anyone indicate what a good tyre tread/compound will be for this Nationals Track. I understand the track is new, but is the dirt also new??
I'd appreciate anyones insight and comments We'll all know more after the warm-up meet I guess, but I'd like to try and get organised sooner.

Tom,
Much of the surface is new, so tyre choice is a bit of a unknown, we are still packing/rolling the track in this weekend so it a little hard to guess at this stage what grip levels will be like.
However from what we have seen of the new surface, it should offer good grip...
