** CHALLENGE CUP 2011 **

Yep looks like the boys sorted it out and now its four from four. Track is quite big Daniel. Surface is very much like the old eastern creek surface so plenty of traction.
Look forward to the practise meet on the 23rd.

I've submitted an entry for the Mod class. Could you update my SumerNats entry with the same Transponder number?

Yes, the video and pictures don't really do the size justice. I was trying to convince them that an extra chicane would be an idea, but it would have had to be temporary. As it is those 540 boys and girls are going to need to practice their drafting skills.
I only raced on the old Easter Creek surface once (qualified 11th at a Nats) but yeah, I would say it is similar. Traction will not be a problem for anyone I wouldn't think; especially this time of year – should be warm! Also, the club have an industrial vacuum cleaner, so the surface is always clean on race days and that helps traction too.

There's also another short 20 m straight in the infield.
It's not exactly AVUS, or Moorebank for that matter, but there are a lot of fast sections.
I would say that the short 25 m straights are just a little shorter than the length of the longest straight on the SMA circuit.

I would think a little bigger but not as complicated as sma so very fast.
Will check with the entry Mark for Summer Nats
WTF: no didn't drive on it. Just want to see the track the area and the setup I would need. Its called home work plus I was visiting friends up your way.
The club said that they were repainting the line work this months as prep for the event plus there will be piping to separate the lanes. As per the vid.
The pic give you a better idea on size.

Hi Daniel I can't see a problem with it as long as it is on the ROAR , BRCA or EFRA lists. Give us week to think more about and I'll get back to you then with definate answer.
