2011 Knight Locksmiths SDMCC 6 Hour Enduro

Racing will commence at 10 am local time and finish 6 hour later. Teams of 4 drivers are required to participate at the cost of $100 per team. Teams must have registered with the SDMCC Race Director at least 1 week prior to the event. Email [email protected] .

Rules are listed below.
1. Limit is 15 teams.
2. Teams must consist of 4 individual drivers and their cars.
3. Drivers can only drive for 1 team.
4. Each driver may only drive their 1 car.
5. There must be 2 truggies and 2 buggies per team. ( Nitro Only)
6. Marshalling of your teams position is Mandatory. A marshal must be present at all times.
7. Private transponders are required to be fitted to each vehicle.
8. All vehicles must meet ARCMCC standards.
9. Only the driver that is driving is allowed on the rostrum. All changeovers are to be made below the rostrum.
10. All transponder numbers and the order of drivers must accompany the team registration.
11. All fees are to be paid on the day before racing commences.
12. Drivers Briefing will be at 9.00 am Local time.
13. Hot Lap Qualifier is 1 car per team will do 2 laps only including an out lap. Starting at approx 9.30 am Local Time
14. Order of racing will be Truggy 1, Buggy 1, Truggy 2, Buggy 2, Truggy 1 etc.
15. Team Names must be Printable. (Media Friendly.)
16. Team marshal allocation will be by random draw of team names at the drivers briefing.
17. Each class (Truggy 1, buggy 1 etc) will only be allowed on the track in its allotted time. The only time there will be multiple classes on the track will be at changeover.
18. Results will be by most laps travelled over time. I.e. 125 laps in 6 hours, 0 minutes and 12 seconds beats 125 laps in 6 hour, 0 minutes and 45 seconds.
19. Truggy 1 cars will start with a Pit Lane Start based on the results of the Hot Lap Qualifier.
20. Race Direction is Normal Race Direction at the SDMCC Morphett Vale Track.
21. Drivers must enter the pits at the required time to do the changeover. Any additional laps done after the pit entry time will result in an additional lap lost i.e., you do 1 extra lap, you lose 2 laps.
22. All standard SDMCC club rules must be adhered to.

how long are the driving stints?

30 mins each which includes the changeover time x 3 stints... 6hrs / 4 drivers
so each driver gets around 1.5 hrs

I just realised that the 23rd, Jan. 2011 is a Saturday. It's unusual for SDMCC to race on a Saturday, is this correct???
