I think the club should have left it open or gone all the way and made it a controlled event, as for "they are the only Guys who have requested Limits" how many mod drivers were asked, from what i know only 3 driver requested this, anyway i know the event will be a good one as it has been in the past and i look forward to it.
See you all there.

Unfortunately Rhys, its one of those situations that if we make a call either way, we're bound to upset someone

It is however shaping up to be a very good meeting - gotta make sure that all those people out there with a 1/12 in the cupboard dust em off and bring them out for the weekend!

Ant and Rhys, I understand what you are saying but i don't really agree.

I know all of the Melbourne guys still need to get their tyres for the event, so why don't we look at a gentlemans agreement on the type of tyre we use? I'm sure all the guys would be OK with that, and we would still have plenty of time to get people to bite and still arrange tyres in time for the race.

That would be a good idea so then it would be a controlled event for mod I can only speak for myself but I am all for that, any idea what would be a suitable tyre, cheers Jordan.

A controlled tyre is good news. To be honest I was starting to stress about what tyres to use. If we can find a controlled tyre that is readily available from a local supplier at a good price then im for that.

Firstly.... Skip, I'm sorry for hijacking your class / event thread here!

Secondly.... I have 5 votes on the new MuchMore 32's (they last well and grip well)

any objections?

Default MM32s

I dont think 32s are the best choice. If its 30degree weather, and its highly likely it will be 30+. I would have thought MM36s would be better as they have a wider working range. Track temp will be around 50 and 32s could overheat.
my 2 cents
