I have seen both run at my Local track. They AE is a lot faster because of the Brushless system. I think it comes with better equipped for racing as well. I think there are a lot of upgrades you would have to do to the Losi to make it as good as the AE. Watching the 2 run on an outdoor rough track the AE is a lot smoother. Youa re going to pay about $200 more for the AE though. If your track runs spec class SCB then you will ahve to change the motor out in the AE. You will want to upgrade the brushed motor in the Losi to a brushless. In my opinion the AE is the better vehicle but the Losi is going to be your quickest trip tot he track in SCB spec class
