Where can I buy R/c at Melbourne
Can anyone help where can she could buy R/C kit ( Tamiya) in Melbourne?
My friend will be going to Philippine Consulate this coming friday.
I just wonder where will be the nearest R/C shop in Melbourne?

There's not a great deal in the city itself.
Metropolitan Hobbies in Box Hill is pretty good for Tamiya, alas it's a fair way out of the city.
Hearns Hobbies in Flinders Street is worth a try, but they aren't cheap. I also find the young guy behind the counter to be rather full of himself, which I find irritating (especially seeing I am the one holding the money).
Hobby Place in Lonsdale is also worth a look but they charge like a wounded bull and as such I use them as a shop of last resort.
