Default WTB: Battery case

I am looking to buy up to 2-3 battery cases to suit 6 cell ladder packs. Looking for a case that will hold 5 or more packs.

hey i have a very cheap idea

this is what i did,

goto a place that sells plastic containers that you can hold food in, then buy foam for it an cut it parts of the foam out to fit battery packs in. it will cost you around $10 to do one container,

its simple, easy, really cheap an works damm well

hey

goto big W, buy a container, goto clarke rubber ask them to cut out foam to fit the container, ( dnt ask them to cut the slots out to fit the batterys thou)

then get a carving knife an cut out the slots for your batterys yourself,

its pretty easy, it will cost like $10 or so, but it saves spending $25 up for a battery case, the one i make fits 5 5 cell ladder packs in it fine,

i hope that helps!!!

Corally sell an aluminium case that holds 12 ladder packs. It is very expensive, but very tuff and looks great. Trinity also sell a battery case but it is made out of woven nylon and foam inside that is cut out. It is a lot cheaper and has a shoulder strap and handle so its easy to carry around. Much More make a battery box that is made out of card board and it has individual boxes for each pack. Its pretty cheap and does the job. Your LHS should have these in stock or can order them for you in a day or two.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick
