Rules:
1. This forum is solely for members' personal sales. New items may be sold, but not by any company, retail or otherwise, or by anybody representing a company. Should you desire commercial advertisements on R/C Tech, please review our Advertising Policies.
2. Posts linking to Ebay auctions are also not allowed and will be deleted.
3. All posts must list an item’s price. Auction style posts, and/or posts that do not have an item price listed are not allowed and will be deleted.
4. You're allowed ONE thread per item. Multiple listings for the same item or any combination of items is not allowed.
5. Under no circumstances may users post suggesting that a listed item may be found elsewhere at a cheaper price. It is the responsibility of the buy to search for the best deal. This should be a safe, friendly environment for members to sell their items without being undercut within their own threads.
6. When using Paypal as a payment option, under NO circumstances can a seller request the payment be made as a "Gift", nor shall the buyer Pay as a "Gift" . Sellers may not charge the buyer extra fees for paypal, this is a site where you can list items for free to a very large range of people in the same hobby, we don't charge you to list, so you should factor any paypal fees into your selling price.
7. You are also responsible for posting Trader Feedback after the sale is completed. Please post such information in a prompt manor, as this information may be used by other potential buyers. Posting feedback is highly recommended but it is not mandatory.
8. No random comments! Only post if you are interested in buying or selling items on the boards. Random and/or useless posts should be reported to the moderators to be deleted.
9. ONE BUMP PER THREAD PER DAY.
10. Do NOT sell an item until it's ready to sell, if you have a car to sell, don't offer it for sale if it's not going to be available until after some race meet a week away.
Other items to note:
A. While we cannot enforce it, It is strongly recommended that you only purchase from sellers offering Paypal. Items paid for by Bank Deposit offer the buyer NO protection, I would strongly advise against purchasing and paying by bank deposit if the seller has a trader rating less than 50.
B. Common courtesy, if you get a PM, reply to it, if the item is sold, update the first post to reflect this. Please do not post a new comment every time you send a PM, or the item sells, or you scratch yourself as it is essentially bumping the thread.
C. If you can't upload a picture, send me a PM, in most cases I can do that for you (assuming you ask nicely)
D. Moderators may issue infractions for general behaviour that may not breach a specific rule but are clearly antagonistic towards other users (Continued backing out of deals, Continued wanted to buy threads, Blatent lowballing, History of non response to messages, Bumping of other people's threads with comments like "Great Deal" etc)
E. Items marked for sale as pick up / cash would ordinarily be considered to be on hold once the seller requests the buyers contact details, and sold once picked up and paid for.
F. Most importantly, A seller may, for whatever reason, choose not to sell to any particular buyer, this is not against forum rules, however a message to this effect would be expected to be sent from the seller to that buyer. Simply ignoring messages is not acceptable (It's a tad rude!)
G. Different sellers have different times at which they consider an item sold, I have found the most reliable way is saying sold once paid for. Paypal is instant, and it's unreasonable to expect a seller to hold an item indefinitely only to have a buyer back out, and the seller having turned other people away. If an item is on sale at a store, first in best dressed, so same principle.

If you click on the link I have provided
--When using Paypal as a payment option, under NO circumstances can a seller request the payment be made as a "Gift", nor shall the buyer Pay as a "Gift"
Appears without the extra detail you have noted. I am confused as to where "Sellers may not charge the buyer extra fees for paypal, this is a site where you can list items for free to a very large range of people in the same hobby, we don't charge you to list, so you should factor any paypal fees into your selling price." is listed?
