Default GT3B Reprogramming Service and Bearing Mod

I will offer a service which I will reprogram the radio to whatever settings you want.
Theses are what can be changed
Fixed Exponential to +99 and opposite -99
Trims set to +-99
Low Voltage 7v-10v
Adjustable Backlight 14.5 hours max
EPA max 200%
3rd Channel button into a Momentary Switch(push to make)

It will cost $5 per radio. Located in Villawood, NSW. I can meet up at some suburbs around Syd. If you want to post to me together with a return post satchel, etc Im ok with that too.

I will also add a bearing in the steering component. The bearing is an 8x12x3.5mm bearing which will keep the steering stiffer and more sturdy feeling. Can also tighten the wheel spring if it feels too soft.

So I fixed the trim(up to 99 now instead of 30) and added more EPA for more steering lock. without the need of any mods to the chassis.

Pm me with your requests or just post up here.

Expo Problem

Expo Fixed

Red line is expo 0, green line expo 99 and blue line expo -99. As you can see it is not equal for the stock one. But it is fixed in the new firmware.

They are just as good in performance. The only few probs are expo which can be fixed and low trim values. It all can be fixed though.

Latency and all are very low and I wouldn't feel much of a difference from tie radio to bigger brands.

These radios are awesome value and I cant tell the difference from my other brand name radio's.

Whats the turn around? If I sent you my TX to you express how long would it take to do the programming and bearing mods?

Cant be without my crawler for long keeps me sane lol

Seeing as you know a bit more about the electronics inside these, is there any chance of converting the gt3 or gt3B to have a 3-way on-off-on switch on ch3?

Well I can do it right away within the day I get it and post it the next day. Or before 6pm if I can.

Well I know the theory behind it, but have not tried it yet. You'll need a 3 way centre off switch and a trimpot(value unknown yet). Pos 1 is on. Pos 2 is off. Pos 3 would be halfway. Pos 1 is negative wire. Pos 2 is postive wire. With Pos 3, the trimpot is placed together in series with negative wire spliced from the negative wire connected to Pos 1.

This is a theory which will work with Channel 3 if that channel is a analogue one. If it's digital it may not work.

Anyone know where i can get a module for one of these radios.

I just need the module not the radio itself.
