For gearing purposes. Without elevation, he couldnt use that big spur.

had to elevate it.. or else the 48p spur wont fit.

and the EVO5ms is already like that. and thats the only thing they changed.

umm... evo5ms has a totally different bottom chassis plate & top plate,
to accomodate a loose layshaft for spurgear that isn't stuck into the gearbox
- makes spurgear change easier but size limitation is about the same

yep parts are easily inter changable to suit the MS stye...
