Default FS: HPI Savage X SS - Upgrades and Spares! Price drop!

PRICE DROP: $450 POSTED

Hey guys, I have for sale a HPI Savage X SS Monster Truck. This is a 4.6 big block version that was built from a kit.

This truck was on eBay but the buyer has not made contact with me in a week so I have cancelled the transaction. I thought I'd offer it on here first before I put it back on eBay.

(Description may sound a little odd... I just ripped it from eBay.)

Along with the truck you will receive:

- 2 custom painted shells. One stock body (blue, yellow and green) which is used but in decent condition, and one a NEW HPI Bounty Hunter body, which is painted in metallic blue (fades light to dark) and the proper Monster Jam decals applied. It has two slight holes where it was going to be drilled, but these were never completed and hence it has never been fitted.

- 3 sets of HPI rims. That is 12 rims! Eight are brand new! The four used rims are on HPI dirt claws tyres and have 85%+ grip left on them. Four other rims are brand new and mounted on HPI dirt bonz tyres that are BRAND NEW. There is also four BRAND NEW in packet black HPI eight-spoke racing rims.

- Tsais exhaust ($100+) plus the original.

- 3 (yes, 3!) motors. One is in the truck and runs very well, with minimal use. The other two I have acquired from friends and I am unsure of how much life, if any, they have. They are great for spares if they are not running properly anyway!

- Almost brand new (used twice!) roto start system.

- HPI 3-speed transmission (fitted) plus the original 2-speed.

- 2 Wheelie bars, one HPI (fitted) and another adjustable aluminium one from New Era in the US ($30+).

- Many Integy purple aluminium hop-ups including; skid plate, engine mounts, fuel tank protector, front and rear braces and shock mounting towers (these shock towers are ˝ inch thick!!)

- Roll cage/motor protector.

- Spare pull start system

- NEW in packet Duratrax fail safe unit.

- Venom speed meter/measurer.

- 2 stainless steel dual disc brake sets ($50 each) that are NEW in packet.

- 3 sets of aluminium wheel hexes (one fitted, two new in packet including a set of purple aluminium ones).

- 2 racing clutch bells with 20 teeth (NEW in packet).

- 2 Integy three-piece clutch set (one complete and NEW in packet, another is new, but some parts are on the truck already).

- Bag of screws, body clips, c-clips etc.

- And more spares including wheel nuts, body mounts, arms, cups, gears, stickers, instructions, oil and original box (which would have to be posted inside another box due to size and weight). I'm sure there is more that I have forgotten about, too!

The only thing this truck needs is a transmitter as I am throwing in a Hobao receiver (the truck didn’t come with any electronics) and also two high torque servos (fitted).

I will also throw in a starting system and fuel bottle (not pictured) meaning all you need is your batteries and a transmitter (sorry… you aren’t getting my Spektrum gear!)

The only little negatives to this truck are:

- 1 front wheel nut is threaded (lucky there are four spares…). It will come off with some pliers.

- Small crack in front arm (can be picked up cheap from eBay or your LHS). This hasn’t affected the truck in any way, and I have run it several times with the small crack. This is a common complaint with these trucks apparently…)

So there you have it. One awesome truck with literally 1000’s of dollars spent. To give you an idea the aluminium parts and wheels and tyres alone cost over $600!

Get yourself an awesome truck at a great price - there is no reserve! The only reason I am selling is because I don't need two monster trucks (so the other half says), and there is no way I am selling my Mad Force, so the Savage has to go! The money this gets will be going towards our wedding in April!

$450 for the lot

Pics:

PS – the Mad Force in the background is not for sale and does not come with the Savage!

Can get more pics by request.

PM or email me at [email protected] if you're interested.

I just chucked all this on the scales and it is 12kg... so postage would cost a decent amount.

ALSO have for sale a Spektrum DX3.0 transmitter and receiver.

I will chuck this in to the Savage deal for $650 + post.

It is for sale on it's own for $200 in another thread.

Bump again.

Going on ebay again soon if no-one puts up the money.

Plenty of interest, but no sale yet.

Just to make it clearer, all you need to get this truck rocking is a transmitter, batteries and fuel.

Seriously though, I can't believe no one has picked this up yet
