Default Making a pack for Agressor CRX

Hello. I want to make a pack for my Agressor CRX transmitter. I currently have the Hitec NIMH pack but I want a spare. Can I just use rechargable NIMH AA cells? Or are they AAA size? Also, would it hurt to put an additional cell in there? It looks like 9 cells would fit....? Thanks

Can I use GP AA cells for this. Does anyone make battery bars for these cells? Thanks

Yes, you can use AA GP cells for it.

I used 2300mAh energizer cells from Wal-Mart.
$17 for 8

I used some 20 AWG wire for the bars.

Instead of making your own pack, why not just get the dry cell holder for the radio? That's what I did with mine ever since Hitec finally released it. I've been using the Energizer 2300s ever since. Usually run times are between 7-8 hours of use before recharging again.
