Hi. I have a problem getting servo gears for my SuperTec S09CL/2BB servo. The guy who imports the servos said new gears are not available, he offered me new servo at cost, but although it was very nice gesture, it can be expensive in the long run.
I've been told that I can use gears from a Hitec servo, just not sure what type (yeh I know ). I have metal gear set for Hitec-605 and they almost fit, actually the only gear that I can not fit in the SuperTec is where the broken one is, sigh. If I could only get to a well stocked hobby shop. I could compare gears and maybe find a substitute, but the nearest one to fit that description is over 1000 miles away. I don't care if the gearing changes a bit, slightly more speed or torque do not matter much but I hate to throw away perfectly good (except for broken gears) high speed / high torque servo if I can get it working again for 10 dollars.
So the question is. Does anyone know if I can use some gears from Hitec servo? If so, what gears?
