Default HS-5645MG

I've had 2 of these servos go out on me. They both have had metal gears break. I've since gotten one of the servos back up and running by moving the broken teeth off one of the gears to where it will not be used. Is there any way I can get replacement gears without sending the entire servo back to you? Can I just send the busted gears back with a note and the receipt?

Gear trains are not covered under warranty. You can however get new gear sets through Servo City. It is the same gear set as the 645MG. P/N 55303 Here is a link to Servo City: http://www.servocity.com/html/hitec_metal_gearsets.html

Are there any Titanium gear sets that would fit this servo?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any titanium gears that will fit that servo.

Dear Billy,

I recently purchased a Hitec HPP-21 plus digital servo programmer and am having problems with it. I was using it to test a JR 241 servo and it was working fine. I plugged in a second hitec 5645 servo into the 1st port and when I went to turn the power on, LED’s 2,4,6,8 and 10 all light up and remain on and are now on permanently. None of the functions work now on any servo. Upon plugging the unit into my USB port, Windows does recognize the controller but the functions in the software do not work. I am unsure of what happened, I have tried changing batteries. Any help would be much appreciated. Please let me know something more about center/ end points...

PLease, help me with it.

Many thanks.

Roberto
