Default Battery Question

Ok my tx pack on my CRX will not charge. I've tried different chargers and it's the battery. So I need a new battery and I can't find any hitech batteries at any distibutors for the radio. So what do I do now? I don't want to build my own transmitter battery.

?? Have you plugged it into the wall charger and let it go for a couple of days yet?

Yep. Left it in the wall for about 36 hours at first. I pick up a new pack today and made a connector so I can use normal reciever plugs on my battery. So I'll be ok for now. Gary I still have your crystal from yesterday. Are you going to be at the track on sunday?

I'm still anxiously awaiting the release of the dry-cell holder for the CRX. What seems to be the delay? It's been since August that this radio was released..... I don't really want to dump a lot of money into an NiMH pack and rig a connector for my charger. I just assume get 2100mah GP AA size batts and put them in the dry cell holder.

You can now get an assembled 1600mah NiMh pack for it from Hitec. http://www.hitecrcd.com/Accesories/battery.htm The street price should be $20 - $25.

Mike.
