I got a 645MG for a steering servo on my Losi 8ight. I flipped the switch for the power and I let out all the smoke out of the servo, and as everyone knows electronics don't run when you let out all the smoke. but seriously, there was no binding in the steering, and the wheels where strait when I turned it on. I'm just wondering what happened? I already bought a new servo, 5645MG. Thanks

Well if everything was hooked up correctly and the servo went poof!!!!!!!!!!! I would say it was just a bad one from the factory. It happens with electronics sometimes that even though they are new it just goes bad.

I'm not sure for a Losi 8 I would be running that servo. I would suggest one of the higer end digital servo for your application.

Cool. Your car will feel even better as you upgrade the servo. I been using the Hitec servos on and off for years. Have served me well over that time.

This is the servo from Hitec I use now. http://www.hitecrcd.com/servos/show?name=HS-7965MG

Sorry to hear it smoked. If you want to send it in we can check it over and see what went wrong with it.
