I have a Hitec CG-335 charger and I want to find out if it will charge NIMH battery packs safely.

CG-335 was released prior to the advent of NiMH packs and their more sensitive cutoff requirement. Superseded by the CG335-Pro which was re-calibrated for boith Nicad & MiMH packs. However, I know several people, including myself, who use the CG-335 for MiMH racing packs with no apparent adverse effect but do not recommend a fast peak charge for "AA" size NiMH packs - use a slower timed top up as most AA NiMH packs have a short life span even when fast charged with a supposedly NiMH friendly fast charger. Copy CG-335 & CG-335Pro instruction sheets attached.
