installing hitec standard hs 300 rcd apollo 5 servo.

i have a stadium blitzer 1/10 scale raceing pickup, with a hitec standard hs 300 rcd apollo 5 throttle servo and i reasently got a hitec Ranger 2 N 2ch am rc system, and i have installed the recieaver and connected it all and the remote still doesent seem 2 be working. i think it has something to do with the throttle servo can anyone help me??

p.s. in new too this forum so i dont know if this is the right place to put this.

Is the servo plugged in to the receiver properly? The black (-) wire will be towards the outside edge of the receiver. Also do you know if this servo even works?

yeh i did everthing that the B.E.C installastion said and it still doesent work there are still 2 or 3 things i think it could be: 1.the receaver isent getting power (alltho it should be) 2.the servos dont work (but they should be 2 because they were working before) 3.the receaver isent conniceted to the remote (for some reason) anyway thanks for your help.
