I have an application that requires the use of HS 645MG servo motor. I'm connecting my microcontroller pin(generating PWM signal) directly to the signal pin of the servo. I would like to ask if connecting them directly is a correct thing to do? or are there other circuit like feedback sensor, etc that needs to interface both the micro and the servo?
Thanks for the info. My application includes one device(T1) that tracks the other device (moving object). What im thinking is to program the microcontroller to save the angles of the moving object (with respect to T1) which to be used in order to manipulate the servo motor.
It is the microcontroller that feeds a PWM signal to the servo motor
Thanks,
