Has there been any problems with the HS-645MG servo being used in a Losi 8B for the Trottle/Brake Servo. Had a new HS-645MG used for 8-9 times/different days with no problems, lock up and cause a runaway this weekend and siezed my new O.S. Engine

There are a few known TH servo issues with the Eight.

Be sure and follow this very closely.

Thanks Tres......Sorry I forgot to mention that I have (4) Losi 8B's and (4) Losi 8T's and follow the factory set ups to a tee.....haven't had (yet....lol) any probs. with JR and Airtronics on them...I am fond of HiTec and use them on all of my CRT.5's and thought of trying them on the Losi's.

Don't know about that, but I do suggest using servo meant more for 8th scale.

The 645MG is a 10th scale servo.
10th scale Monster trucks & Buggies.

I burned up a lot of JR servo's on my 8B and only 1 hitec 645mg. It is really a flaw in the 8 where you need that "O" ring under the radio tray to prevent servo damage. I've found Hi-tec to have very durable products and rely on them to help me finish races.
Not my sponsors, just my choices.

Oh Ya it is a must to have the o rings under the battery tray and proper end points set and a correct linkage setting.
