Hitech Lynx3d only turns right

Hi everyone:

I bought a used Lynx 3d and am having problems

It is a 27mhz model with the DCX receiver I have a
T-maxx 2.5 and hooked up the reciever etc..

No matter what I do I cannot get the lynx 3d to turn right it only
turns left.. I have tried messing with all the settings but
am very very confused I dont know if the unit is bad or what
I would think that it would atleast turn left and right..

Someone please help

dont know if I got rooked on ebay or if there is some way to
reset the whole unit.. I have tried resetting the modesl but it claims
in the manual that it beeps when you press both + - data keys
but it doesnt

thanx

Any chance of getting your hands on another Rx to see it that cures the problem? When you do the reset, do the epa's go back to 100% or not? TTYL.

It does appear to change mode under some things
I switched channel two and one to insure that the receiver
was not acting up on channel one.. All channels are working properly
(on receiver)

I think that the pot for the steering is screwed up or an electronic
failure .. I dont know what to do..

Guess into the garbage it goes..

Hey Guys. I have been having the same problem with the TX. My Hitec Aggressor FM works perfectly with both of my cars, but the Lynx 3D is just hard left, or hard right at the neutral point, depending on whether I have the servo reversed or not determines which side it locks on to. You just seem to not be able to turn the wheel right, so yeah, its a huge pain in the ass. Its like the steering wheel has been taken off, and needs to be recentered. Bizzarre.

Was there a fix or is there one???

I contacted Hitec Service email address to no reply so far. Really desperate to know if I should move to another Tx. At this stage, maybe a Futaba. Its really bugging me now!
