Default *Winter Racing? Looking for Input!*

Hey guys (and gals) we are condidering opening a carpet track in or near Jonesboro for some winter racing and need some input as to what kind of participation we might expect. The schedule would likely begin in early to mid October, and run through late February to mid March. If we do this, the tenative plan is to probably try to race twice a month, one race being on a Saturday night, and the other on Sunday afternoon. This way, hopefully everyone's schedule will allow them to make at least one race a month, hopefully both races. This could be subject to change depending on interest/participation. So, the big question is, how many of you would be interested enough to attend most (or all) the races, how many might come to some of them, and how many would not/could not come at all. Please be honest on this so we know which direction to go. Any input is greatly appreciated. The track size would likely be in the range of 40'x70' in size. This is about the size of the track up at Carbondale,Il where we have ran quite a bit and that size seems to work really well.

Thanks,

Zach

Somehow I missed this thread.

I would attend. In particular, I would be interested in 1/12 pan. What classes were you thinking of?

What you guys also missed is that this thread was from 2010!!! And you can see that we had an overwhelming amount of interest from the length of this thread!!

Be awesome to have some were close to race indoors for winter but as for me and a most the people I know all have off-road stuff so a carpet track would do us much good but it does sound awesome and if I could afoard to buy a carpet car I would surely support yal
