I have to go beat up on the Miata on the full scale race track that weekend but will be available for the two races in Sep and would like to go. I will have to start figuring out which classes to run which might be difficult because I have enough cars to run all of them.

I think Lonny just volunteered to pit for me. :-)

I find it great that one of the most active threads in the AZ/NM section is about racing carpet cars in Southern California.

Yeah , without the paint, you had to brush it, wet it and then blow it off because the concrete was so dusty. It was an old tennis court that was plain concrete and then he painted the course layout with tennis court paint (the green kind) - definitely easy to see where the track was. As Lonny said, it had traction but did eat tires. I think it's a good idea IF you then lightly sand it down some with a sand buffer to reduce the grain.

- I sure wish we could get a followup on the club idea in the other thread.

I'll go, split whatever costs when the time comes, I'll see if I have access to that station wagon for the run if necessary.

Well, I have access to the station wagon on the weekend, so myself and a few other fools can make the cannon ball run out to Cali.

Time to rev it up again, find the max.
