this is why we do this and why I continue to do so. There is soo much more to it than just putting your car on the track unfortunately this is not everybody's view.
It gets easier over time

Casey,

I love racing in AZ. And I only get out there once or twice a year. We plan our family vacations around races at the Pit.

I live in CA, so I have good racing year round, but I will road trip out to AZ just for the race scene there. It's that good.

Brian I agree with you 100%. Well said.

See we got into to this hobby for one reason. My Son and I have never been closer and the bond that has formed is second to none. It just so happens that he took a liking to racing and I love to race as well.

I think people forget that the kids racing right now are the future of the hobby. I for one do not allow my Son to come onto rc tech due to all drama that happens. It would taint his view of the hobby itself.

I agree with the above statement that Casey is is a great face of the rc community. Kids and adults do look up to sponsored drivers. I remember one time at hobbytown when we first statred, my Son came up to me and said hey dad that's casey peck. Did you see his custome lid its awesome. He then said can I go say hi and tell him he has a cool lid. As little as it may seem it was big for him to be able to approach a pro driver.

We love to race and continue to love it. We have had learning experiences from things we done wrong and right. Just ask casey to explain the difference between a weekly club racer and fully sponsored pro that earns his living doing what we all love. It was an eye opener for me that's for sure.

It seems we do more fighting than helping each other. I have made some pretty good friendsduring our short time in this. We just need to.stick together help each other out out and have some fun.

By the way my son and I love racing.

Oh and this past weekend at the pit was freaking awesome. Still hung over.

Wink Racing in AZ!

I still love racing in the AZ. Anyone that can say they had a bad day racing needs to quit for a while and let us enjoy it!

Oh yeah, R/C Tech was started to HELP fellow racers and/or bashers continue on with the hobby they love. Lets try to keep it that way!

Hey Mike,
Good to see you back out at the pit. What happened in the Main? I don't think you made a lap, that sucks. Hope to see you at Byron's. Both Jason's and your OD looked good out there.

Always enjoy a day at the track, even with some hotheads out there. And entertainment on r/c tech.
We play golf on off days to slow the pace down, lose few balls and break a few clubs

I do I look forward to Saturday and actually get depressed when rain cancels race day! I'm a newbie to the scene - only been racing a bit under a year. My 10 year old son races with me, as does my brother and another friend. We're all new to racing. Sure, I've been caught up in the moment of battle, but have decided to refocus and just get back to Saturday night club racing and not worry about points series so much. I've met a few really good guys out at SRS that have offered help whenever I asked. Overall the RC community has been great!

I LOVE RACING! Don't care really where it is. That's why I have been racing more this year than ever. I go to all the series I can make, I have been out of state a few times this year even. I spend my time not racing thinking about racing, helping at the track, or on here when I can stand it. I do my best to be friendly to everyone at the track whether they are my type of person or not. We all have at least one thing in common.

This weekends events, or any other incidents for that matter, do not mean that we don't all still love racing and having a great time. It simply means someone reached their limit with one thing or another and decided to stand up for themselves. It would be the same no matter what we were doing. So I would like to apologize to any on-lookers who's experience may have been affected. Perhaps a quieter approach would have worked just as well. But what's done is done I guess.

I STILL LOVE RACING! See you all at the track.

Hey Bruce I too love to swing the sticks when I get the chance. I really do love the game. Maybe after my wing heals up (if I can still swing) we can play.

Never said I wasn't having fun, if I wasn't I wouldn't be there. There was a lot less drama years ago, everyone just came to race and sit in the parking lot and bs after the track closed.
