2016 U.S.VTA Southern Nationals in Music City U.S.A.
Darkside Productions and myself would like to welcome you back to another great year of some of the best U.S.VTA racing anywhere in the world. Robert Dirla and Thunder RC Raceway will be hosting the event the 6th year in a row. We will be looking to break new grounds and records with a host of great things like reduced entry fees ,bigger and better prizes, best competition and of course plenty of trophies to go around. We will also be adding the I.R.O.C. to the program to go along with the PRO VTA Invite class. I am expecting this years U.S.VTA Southern Nationals in Music City U.S.A. to completely dominate over events of the past five years. I look forward to seeing the best, middle and every average Joe racer from all across the U.S. to be under the Thunder Dome come Sept 22-25th

Thursday 22nd
Practice and setup 5pm-midnight

Practice and setup 12 noon till midnight

Doors open at 6am for Practice/setup/pics/driver meeting
Qualifiers start at 11am
Sunday 25th
Doors open at 6am for LCQ and Mains

Classes:

Pro Invitational Class sponsored by Novak and DS4L
a. must have TQ'd or finished in the top 5 of one of the following events running U.S.VTA rules: Scale Nats(Chicago) Southern Nats(Nashville) Summit Nats(Ft Wayne) Halloween Classic(Cleveland) Snowbirds Nats(Orlando) U.S.VTA Pavement Nats (FL) or the U.S.VTA National Points Series
b. sponsored or unsponsored
c. Pre glued HPI VTA wheels and tires as handout
d. handout Novak VTA Boss 25.5, built by Charlie and/or Bob Novak. Built to be as equal as possible. One motor per racer
c. battery will be tech for capacity with the ICharger. NEW Rule is 6000 mah. Must use the same battery, limit 2.
e. simple points system 1-10, lowest amount of points wins. tie breakers will be times and laps
f. limited to 10 racers
g. random sort and starts using all 3 types: rolling, lemans, inverted
h. 6 rounds at 10 min each


I.R.O.C. Pro GT Class
a. must have TQ'd or finished in the top 5 of one of the following events running U.S.VTA rules: Scale Nats(Chicago) Southern Nats(Nashville) Summit Nats(Ft Wayne) Halloween Classic(Cleveland) Snowbirds Nats(Orlando) U.S.VTA Pavement Nats (FL) or the U.S.VTA National Points Series

c. limited to 10 racers
d. 6 rounds at 10 min each
e. must use the PROTOform Chevy Camaro Z28 part#1544-30
f. All included decals must be used or sub with paint

USVTA
a. tires must have visible tread to pass tech
b. all blinky type esc must be on the ROAR list
c. 1st qualifier will be 1 min of open track for VTA....best time in that 60 seconds determines starting order and TQ
d. all qual will be heads up. Thats 5 qual for VTA. A-main will be triple mains points style if time permits

USGT
a. tires must have visible tread to pass tech
b. all blinky type esc must be on the ROAR list
c. bodies must have at least 3 numbers
d. must be in some form of race lively
e. must have a front and rear bumper of some sort.
f. use your decals and make it look like a race car including headlights and taillights
g. all rotors can not be larger than 12.5 mm in diameter

a. 16 and under with possible exceptions like moms/girlfriends ect
b. USVTA rules will be loose. ask if you are not sure

a. the stock wing on the new Xray F1 car is allowed, but it must be trimmed correctly

17.5 Touring Car
a. Jaco Blues will be official tire
b. IFMAR style racing
c. $25 a set, and you are allowed 2 sets. If you make the A-main you will be allowed to purchase a 3rd set

RACERS RULES:
no cussing/swearing
children must be supervised at all times
no arguing
clean up after yourself and your area
no rough driving
no walking in front of the drivers stand
no refunds after Sept 1st, any refund for any reason will have a $10 service fee
any racer can and will be asked to leave the event if any physical contact is made either to the person or their belongings
all spectators need to be in the couch area, pit space and tables are for racers
marshals need to walk the line of the barriers and not across the track
only marshals should be on the track
no food or drink allowed on the track
any racer can be flagged for cheating
track is not responsible for your items

since this has been asked...YES the Pro Invite class will still be using spec Novak Boss motors supplied by Novak...they have been rechecked to make sure they are as close as possible...each one has been on the dyno to make sure...

so rest your minds and take part of the elite top 10 USVTA race...1st ten to signup and pay are in...and dont forget the new IROC GT class as well
