S.H.A.R.C. R/C club

This r/c club is in Florence Al. We race off-road and on-road. Or Off-road track is located in St. Florian, a suburb of Florence. The on-road track is at Hobbytown in Florence. We race on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month.

How far away are you from Chuck Sypole's concrete oval track? What On Road classes do you run?

Chill, you need to make the trek up to Bullet Town R/C, I hear your burning NITRO Now

Hueytown! I had fun racing down there back in the days. I don't know what Oval you are talking about Mike. Are you talking about the oval at Spring Cove? It's a little farther down the road from our off-road track but it's closed. On road classes are pretty much everything. 1/18 scale to 1/8 scale off-road buggy and trucks. The sedan class is a open motor class so if you think you can drive it, run it.

Next races in Florence is at Hobbytown Sept 14th. This will be a Money/Trophy race. Cash to 1st & 2nd and trophys to 3rd & 4th.

The Next Off-road race will be Sept 24th.

Entry Fee: If you sign up before Oct 22nd the first class is $10 and the second class is $5. If you sign up at the track the first class will be $12. If you sign up after sign up closes it will be $15. Sign up forms will be at HobbyTown in Florence. For the out of town racers you can send your entry to: Willie Scott, 537 W. Cleveland Ave, Florence Al 35630. Put your sign up info on a sheet of paper. Name, Class, Freq, Personal Transponder #.
