Default New track in Foley, AL

Just letting all the would be racers in Baldwin County know we now have a track just west of Foley, AL in Magnolia Springs. We have a 600+ foot offroad course and a 700+ foot dirt oval. We have setup an AMB timing system and will be holding races here shortly. Some pics of the track can be found at:

www.gulfcoastraceway.com

Please feel free to come and try out the track on sundays. All racers are welcome. I am also holding practice on Thursday nights after 6:00 pm. All are welcome.

That is really cool about the track. My dad retired and lives in Foley on County Road 12. Let me know you schedule when you get one worked up. We own a Race shop and track in Columbia, Tn. I will try to get over and race with you guys when I come down to visit.

Is this track still open? Is there any offroad racing?

The owner never can make up his mind what he wants to do. That track has open and closed numerous times since it first opened. It's closed (for now), but there's a track not that far away in Silverhill, AL.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Hopefully I won't need to use the track, but usually by Spring Break it's still snowing here. Nitro tuning in the winter = no-no
