Twas 3 weeks before Christmas and out on the track
Not a driver was racing not even a hack.
The stockings were hung on the drivers stand with care
In hopes that Saint Nitro would soon been there.
The turn marshals were nestled all snug in their beds
With visions of trophies dancing in their heads.
With mom in her nighty and me an my cap
Had settled in for a long winters nap.
When out on the track we heard such a clatter
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
I opened the window and to my surprise
There was a monster truck on the track with 8 little pit guys.
The driver was running to and fro
I knew at that moment it was Saint Nitro.
He whistled at the pit guys and called them by name
On Terry, On Todd, On Stevie and Roy,
On Tommy, On Phil, On David and Danny Boy.
They filled all stockings with new cars and new trucks
I even saw some with Hobby Town Bucks.
As they climbed back in the truck
I think Stevie got stuck.
Then he gave a yell while closing the hatch
If you want to win a trophy you better be at the Patch.
