I'm near Birmingham and I know of a track that to my knowledge is unused and possibly still in disrepair. There used to be a club that raced RC10's on the track but I can't find any info about the club ,so it could have collapsed long ago. The track is in Oak Mountain State Park and the easiest way to get there is from highway 280 onto 119 (go toward the bank) drive until you see a sign indicating the correct road to turn onto. Bring a few bucks for the entry fee to the park.(The toll booth is pretty far down the road into the park) After the booth ,continue along the main road and you will go into a large concrete dip/ waterway. Keep going until you see a sign indicating the right road. It says"<- RC Track". Follow the road until it turns into a gravel parking lot( there should be a bmx track on your left) and the track should be right in front of you. I hereby make no guarantees about the condition of the track or even if it is still there. Good Luck!
