Just wanted to see if there is any interest in a Traxxas Slash class.
$200.00 and you go racing dirt. Any thoughts?
What are the dates for dirt racing and what classes are run?
We have a forum for the Bass Pro on road. Where is the one for the off road for Flowood?

I would maybe be interested. I would like to see a slash first. Right now no one has any. We are however running 1/8 scales at flowood and 1/10th 4wd also. There are novice and expert in 1/8 scale classes and we have pretty close to a full class in 4wd electric.

Hey Choppin', I'm gonna tear my Durga back down & put a slipper & 501x shocks, & stainless screws in it. Need to find how to set up the shocks for a Durga before I build them. When do yall race this weekend? Saturday or Sunday? I want to come hit the track with yall, if I get it put back together.

Thanks. It's always fun to see you guys. I didn't run the 3rd heat. David had to leave. I helped marshal some more & then I left after the drivers meeting for the mains. I'll try and make it up when there's going to be more 4wd racers planning on attending. The track was great. I would like to run more on a track with big jumps like that a lot more. Not used to it. I need to work on controlling the car in the air quickly. Oh yea, and get some spare parts for when I don't land just right !!!

I would like to race 2wd buggy 19 turn. Do we have enough people to race? If so, I would have to go and buy a buggy. I was looking at the Kyosho RB5.

My son & I used to have 2 B4's, but I sold them & our older stadium trucks last year 'cause everyone quit running them. Bought 2 rock crawlers & 2 new Stadium trucks because the trucks play & handle the rough stuff better.

But... me and Blake would be interested in racing the new Traxxas Slash trucks. Becoming VERY popular budget class already.
We already have 2 stadium trucks & I have the one 1/10 4WD buggy.

I can go for the traxxas slash too. I buy one if we can get a class going. It will be less money to spend than buying the buggy and buying electronics for it too.
I used to have a T3 and B3 and loved driving the B3 the best. The B3 was more nimble.

Hey Layton, if that is you (or anybody for that matter), I've got 2 stadium trucks that'll come racing this evening if you can get ahold of a few more. I've got my 1/10 4WD buggy too.

For those of you who are interested a bunch of us are wanting to run a 2wd electric buggy class. Motor of choice is 19 turn or 10.5 / 13.5. If interested please leave a post and let us know.
