Thursday Practice Heats Results

At ROAR Nationals events, a "Qualifying Points" system is used, rather than the standard best-run-counts system used at most races. In a Q-Points system, each round is judged separately and weighed equally in the final tally. In a particular round, a racer receives points equal to his or her overall position from that round only, with the first post (TQ) equal to zero points. The idea, then, is that whoever has the lowest total score is the overall top qualifier.

Also remember that the results below were for the practice rounds from Thursday only. These results have no bearing on the actual event and were discarded on Friday morning, when the real qualifying began. Still, they are interesting from a "preliminary results" standpoint.

Also note that we were unable to get the computer to correctly "dump" the full results file for these practice rounds, so I only entered the lap times for the top few guys in Mod Sedan. This should be even for everybody to get a good idea as to what is going on.
