INTRODUCTION & COVERAGE >>> January is upon us, and that means that all eyes turn to snowy, frigid Wisconsin, where the Novak U.S. Touring Car Championship takes place each year at S&N's Trackside Hobbies and Raceway, here in Brookfield just outside of Milwaukee. The USTC was the first race we ever covered here on R/C Tech, and we're proud to return once again for our fourth year of live updates, results and photos. For those not familiar with the track, Trackside is the creation of the one and only Scotty Ernst, one of the most renowned race announcers in the RC world and certainly one of the hobby's best promoters.
The USTC race is a little bit different than many other big races for a few reasons. For starters, there are some classes more geared towards novice racers, meaning that anybody and everybody can find a place to participate. There are also classes for both rubber and foam tires, so no matter what your touring car passion is, you can be sure to fulfill it here. And now that brushless technology has hit the mainstream, there is a brushless motor class as well, now in its second successful year. There were 290 entries this year, making 2005 the biggest and most successful USTC yet!
Be sure to check out our official 2005 Novak U.S. Touring Car Championship discussion thread in the forums, as well as the pages of pictures and results contained here.

FINAL RESULTS >>> The final results are in! Check the lists below for the results from the triple A mains, or check page two for results from all of the individual mains. On this page, scores in bold indicate they were used to determine the driver's final standing (best two of three). In case of a tie, it went to the third run, and in case of a further tie, it went to total laps and then total time.
