			Mike Blackstock's TQ-of-the-day 1/12th scale car sitting on the grid before the second qualifying round, in which he topped his own TQ.

			Cars from the 'A' heat of Modified 1/12th scale sit in the post-race tech area. In the foreground are the prototype CEFX 12's of David Spashett and Josh Cyrul.

			The 'B' heat of Modified Touring sits on the post-race tech table, including Chris Doseck's Trinity-powered Warpspeed Demon (middle-right).

			Cars from the 'A' heat of Modified Touring, before and after they underwent their post-race inspection. Only weight is being checked so far, but drivers have been warned that motors will be teched in the coming rounds as well.

			In between heats, there is plenty of action around the track as drivers (or their pit crews) scrub tires off and make last-second adjustments.

			Drivers on the stand are hard at work, but most everybody else is kicking back and having fun watching. It helps that there's a bar in the hotel lobby!

			When some of the fastest drivers in the world are on display, everybody makes sure to drop what they are doing and come down to watch.

			One of the piles (yes, there are more) of boxes of trophies waiting to be awarded on Sunday.
